Newrest in Sweden

In 2021, Newrest Sweden acquired Inflight Logistics with 3 contracts:

• Arlanda – Inflight catering unit – Client: Ryanair, SAS
• Gothenburg – Inflight catering unit – Client: SAS
• Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm – 3 rail units – Client: SJ

In total, Newrest Sweden had 2 buildings for inflight catering and 3 rail units.

In 2022, Newrest Sweden won SAS contract in Arlanda and started the construction of a brand-new building for SAS operations, according to Newrest standards. In November 2022, the unit started inflight catering for SAS inside the new building and then brought in Ryanair on a second phase in 2023. The old unit was closed in 2023.
